Graph paper sizes: A4, Letter, and Legal
Choosing the correct page size helps your printed grid match the measurements you expect. Here is a simple comparison of the three sizes supported by the generator.

A4 graph paper
A4 is 210 × 297 mm, or approximately 8.27 × 11.69 inches. It is the standard office and school paper size in many countries and is a good default for international classrooms and printable worksheets.
Letter graph paper
Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches, or 215.9 × 279.4 mm. It is common in the United States and Canada. Choose Letter when your printer tray and document settings are set to US Letter.
Legal graph paper
Legal is 8.5 × 14 inches, or 215.9 × 355.6 mm. The extra height is useful for long calculations, engineering notes, and worksheets that need more vertical space.
Portrait or landscape?
Portrait is useful for worksheets and writing. Landscape gives you more width for coordinate planes, diagrams, and wide planning layouts. You can switch orientation before downloading a PDF, PNG, or SVG.
